A group of companies that has been producing, investing and growing for more than sixty years.
Bayraktar Group was founded in 1963 as Bayraktar Orman Urunleri. Over the 34 years that followed it stood out as one of the country's largest importers and processors of logs and sawn timber.
Run with a corporate outlook since its founding, Bayraktar Group aims to contribute positively to every sector it enters. For the companies within the group, growing while preparing for the future, the guiding principle is quality service and happy customers.
The group operates today in three areas: entertainment, hospitality and construction. The knowledge and experience built over more than sixty years is carried forward through new investments.
History
Sixty years in the making
- 1963Bayraktar Orman Urunleri
The group's first company was founded. Over 34 years it became one of the largest importers and processors of logs and sawn timber.
- 1980First step into construction
The group entered construction by building its own timber processing plant in Bagcilar, Istanbul.
- 1997 – 2014Automotive dealerships
The group ran Hyundai, Honda and Mazda dealerships for 17 years.
- 1998Showroom and office tower
A Hyundai showroom was completed, followed by a 36,000 m² office tower that also houses the group's headquarters.
- 2009JoyPark founded
The group entered the family entertainment sector. The branch network spread to Istanbul, Bursa, Denizli and Eskisehir.
- 2021BayMari Suites
Entry into hospitality, starting with a boutique project of 14 luxury apartments in Bakirkoy.
- 2023Growth in hospitality
Two new projects took BayMari Suites to 92 apartments and 248 rooms.
- 2026First step abroad
JoyPark begins its international expansion with two branches in London: Westfield London and Edmonton Green.
